Hypothesis 4:
There is no significant difference between drug abuse and student’s academic performance on the basis of ATF.
The result in table 7 reveales that the calculated t – value of .54 is less than the critical t – value of 1.96. Therefore, the hypothesis which states that there is no significant difference between drug abuse and students’ academic performance is accepted.
Hypothesis 5:
There is no significant difference between drug abuse and students’ academics performance on the basis of TOR.
The result on table 8 indicates that the calculated t – value of .71 is less than critical t – value of 1.96. Therefore, hypothesis 5 which states that there is no significant difference between drug abuse and students’ academic performance on the basis of type of residence (TOR) is accepted.
