RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
This chapter deals with the collation, analysis and interpretation of data collected through the administration question.
The research work was a survey study on the influence of teachers’ training and development programmes on academic performance of studies in mathematic in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara state. A sample of one hundred (100) students and twenty (20) teachers were randomly selected from ten (10) public secondary schools within the study area.
The students were further divided into groups of fifty (50) each the first group being handles by the teachers who undergoes adequate training and development programe (Experimental group) and the second group (control group).Result in the table above shows that 12 of the teachers sample were male (10.0%), 8 or 6.7 % were female also 60 representing 50.0% were female student while the remaining 40 or 33.3% were female.
