Results in the table above shows that 80(40.0%) of the teachers sampled agreed that training and development programmes help teachers keep abreast of expanding knowledge based on education, 7(35.0%) agreed while 2 (10.0%) disagreed and 3 (15.0%) strongly disagreed with the statement. On item 10(50.0%) strongly agreed that regular training programme through conferences and seminars helps to improve teachers methodology, 6 (30.0%) agreed as against 3 (15.0%) and 1(5.0%) that disagreed and strongly disagreed respectively to the statement.
Also, item states that exposure to regular training programmes has help the teachers improved on their methodology and skills, 5(25.0%) disagreed while 3 or 15.0% strongly disagreed.
Hypothesis Testing
Three hypotheses were raised in the course of this research work the hypotheses as earlier proposed parson product-moment correlation statistics (PPMC) at 0.05 level of significance.
