Hypothesis Two:
There is no significant difference in the causes of juvenile delinquency as expressed by secondary school students in Ibarapa Local Government Area on the basis of gender.
Table 5 represents the difference in male and female respondents’ expression on causes of juvenile delinquency. The table shows that the calculated t-value of 1.71 is less than the calculated t-value of 1.96 with a corresponding p-value of .09 which is greater than 0.05 level of significance. This indicates that lack of significant different, hence; the null hypothesis is accepted. Therefore, there is no significant difference in the causes of juvenile delinquency as expressed by secondary school students in Ibarapa Local Government Area on the basis of gender.
Hypothesis Three:
There is no significant difference in the patterns of juvenile delinquency as expressed by secondary school students in Ibarapa Local Government Area on the basis of age.
Table 6 represents the difference in respondents’ expression on patterns of juvenile delinquency based on age. The table shows that the calculated F-value of 1.12 is less than the calculated F-value of 3.00 with a corresponding p-value of .33 which is greater than 0.05 level of significance. This indicates that no significant different exists, hence; the null hypothesis is retained. Therefore, there is no significant difference in the patterns of juvenile delinquency as expressed by secondary school students in Ibarapa Local Government Area on the basis of age.
