Hypothesis three
There is no significant difference in the influence of family background on academic performance of secondary school students. On academics performance of secondary school students on the basis of parental highest educational qualification.
Table 5 indicated that there is no significant difference in the influence of family background on the academics performance of secondary school student on the basis of parental highest educational qualification as shown by the higher critical f-value (3.00) as against the calculated f-value (0.81) at 0.05 alpha levels. The null hypothesis is thus accepted.
