Hypothesis Four
There is no significant difference in the influence of family background on the academic performance of secondary school students on the basis of family size.
Table 6 showed the result of t- test of respondents on influence of secondary school students. The results shows that the critical t- value of -51 is less than critical t- value is greater than the calculated t- value , of 1.96, since the critical t-value, is greater than the calculated. Thus, there is no significant difference in the influence of family background on academics performance of secondary school students on the basis of family background.
