Hypothesis Five
There is no significant different in the influence of family background on academic performance of secondary school students on the basis of parents’ employment type.
Table 7 shows the results of the ANOA on respondents’ expression on influence of family background on academic performance of secondary school students on the basis of parents’ employment type. It indicated that the calculated f-ratio of 1.64 is less than the critical f-value of 3.00, hence the hypothesis is accepted. Thus, influence of family background on academic performance of secondary school student on the basis of parents employment type.
