Hypothesis Three
There is no significant difference in teachers’ perception of consequences of child abuse on student’s academic performance in Ilorin Metropolis on the basis of teaching experience.
The result in table 8 reveals that the calculated f-value is 0.8129 while the critical f-value is 3.00. Since the calculated f-value is less than the critical f-value, the null hypothesis is therefore accepted. Hence, there is no significant difference in the perception of teachers on the consequences of child abuse on students’ academic performance on the basis of teachers’ experience.
Hypothesis Four
There is no significant difference in teachers’ perception of consequence of child abuse on student’s academic performance in Ilorin Metropolis on the basis of subject area.
The result in table 9 reveals that the calculated f-value is 1.7325 while the critical f-value is 3.00. Since the calculated f-value is less than the critical f-value, the null hypothesis is therefore accepted. Hence, there is no significant difference in the perception of teachers on the consequences of child abuse on students’ academic performance on the basis of subject area.
