Hypotheses Testing
Hypothesis One
There is no significant difference in the consequences of premarital sexual activities as expressed by secondary school students on the basis of gender.
The result in table 6 indicates that the calculated t-value is 1.32 while the critical t-value is 1.96. Since the calculated t-value is less than the critical t-value, the hypothesis which stated that there is no significant difference in the consequences of premarital sexual activities as expressed by secondary school students on the basis of gender is accepted because no significant difference was found.
