3.5 Valuation of Instrument
Validity is the degree to which a measuring instrument measures what is designed to measure. Every measuring instrument is designed for a specific measurement. For the research work, construct validity was used because it involves testing hypothesis about the structure of the research and also content validity which enable the researcher to construct his questionnaire and allow the respondents to freely answer the questions without panic.
The reliability of the research study gives the guarantee that the same result would be generated where the research is repeatedly done by the same person or different researchers.
3.6 Procedure of Data Collection
The accumulated materials used for the research project is divided into primary and secondary sources.
Primary Source of Data
This refers to the records of people who are eye witness to historical or social events personal interview is the technique used to obtain the primary source of data in Primary school in Saki-west Local government.
Secondary Source of Data
This refers to records of people who are closed to an event who are in good position to have valid knowledge of the event. The source of the secondary data include textbooks, visit to some web-site on internet journals of professional bodies, business papers, magazines and articles.
3.7 Method of Data Analysis
With a view to get generalized findings and recommendations, the researcher will use tabular form of data presentation and simple percentage will be applied to analyze various responses to the one hundred and forty four (144) questionnaires distributed among study population selected.
The data analysis that will be used in this research involves the processing of the data from the questionnaire so as to make meaningful in interpretation. The tables were used to give a clear view of the distribution of the responsiveness given by our respondents to each question in the questionnaire.
