Table 3 shows distribution of the respondents by class level. It revealed from the table that 50% of the respondents were from J.S.S classes while 50% of the respondents were from S.S.S classes. This shows that there is equal distribution of respondents.
Table 4 shows distribution of the respondents by age. It revealed from the table that 28.0% of the respondents are students between the age of 11 – 13 years, 59.5% are students between 14 – 16 years, while 12.5% are students between the age limits of 17 and above. This shows that majority of the respondents are between the age limits of 14 – 16 years.
The result concerning the perception of secondary school students on causes of delinquent behaviour are presented in the table below. The results are based on the mean (X) scores and Standard Deviation (SD).
