    • Hypothesis 2:    There is no significant difference in the perception of secondary school students on causes of delinquent behaviour on the basis of class level.

Table 7 shows t-test analysis on perception of secondary school students on causes of delinquent behaviour on the basis of class level. The table revealed that the calculated t-value of 2.00 is greater than the table value of 1.96 at 0.05 alpha value of significance, with a degree of freedom of 198. Since this is the case, the null hypothesis is rejected. This also implies that there is significant difference in the perception of secondary school students on causes of delinquent behaviour on the basis of their class level.
Hypothesis 3:    There is no significant difference in the perception of secondary school students on causes of delinquent behaviour on the basis of gender.

Table 8 show t-test analysis on perception of secondary school students on causes of delinquent behaviour on the basis of gender. It revealed from the table that the calculated t-value of 6.092 is greater than the table value of 1.96 at 0.05 alpha value of significance with a degree of freedom of 198. Since this is the case, the null hypothesis is rejected. This implies that there is significant difference in the perception of secondary school students on causes of delinquent behaviour on the basis of their gender.
