Table 7 shows the means and rank order of items on the causes of academic related anxiety among respondents. It shows that item 1 which states that “fear of passing examination has mean a score of 3.143 and it ranked 1st, while item 5 which states that “Anxiety due to inability to understand what is learnt†has mean score of 3.073 ranked 2nd, item 3 which states that “worries of inferiority among other students†has mean score of 2.933 and it ranked 3nrd.
However, item 17 which state that “accommodation problem†have mean score of 2.570 and it ranked 18th. While item 7 “which states that the “Desire to satisfy parents’ demand†has mean score 2.527 and it ranked 19th item 19 which states that “uncondusive seating arrangement in lecture†has means score of 2.437 and it ranked 20th.
