1.2 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
This study is concerned with the impact
of time management on employee’s productivity at the Kaduna State
Universal Basic Education Board. It has been noticed that most
organization tends to experience the problem of management of time in
what is set in motion to achieve. Thus, the study intends to find out
the role of time management or the absence of it in achieving employee’s
productivity among staff of the State Universal Basic Education Board.
The question that one will like to ask include is it due to poor time
management that production among staff of the Universal Basic Education
Board is not efficient and effective or at what level do staff of the
state universal Basic Education Board effectively utilize time
management to achieve productivity.
1.3 OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY
The objectives of the study are;
1. To ascertain the impact of time management in employee productivity
2. To ascertain the relationship between time management and employee productivity
3. To investigate the nature of effective time management in an organization
4. To provide solutions to the problem of time wasting in Nigeria
1.4 RESEARCH HYPOTHESES
For the successful completion of the study, the following research hypotheses were formulated by the researcher;
H0: there is no impact of time management in employee productivity
H1: there is impact of time management in employee productivity
H02: there is no relationship between time management and employee productivity
H2: there is relationship between time management and employee productivity
1.5 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
This
study will give a clear insight on the impact of time management in
employee productivity in organization. It will be of help to any
organization and the employee. The study will help enlighten how to
manage time in employee productivity in organization. The study will b
of help to others research which the study will serve as reference.
