2.0 LITERATURE REVIEW
2.1 Conceptual Framework
The study adopted the five steps knowledge management process to explain the knowledge transfer system, the reason being that the model explained the knowledge needs, knowledge acquisition, knowledge organization and storage which is equivalent to knowledge management, knowledge transfer/sharing and use which is relevant to the needs among indigenous traditional herbal medical practitioners. The model is shown in figure 2.2. The independent variables are information accessibility, knowledge acquisition and knowledge management. The dependent variable is knowledge transfer system.
