CHAPTER FOUR
DATA ANALYSIS AND RESULTS
This chapter deals with the analysis of data collected. It presents the results of the study with relevant interpretations as well as discussion of findings. The demographic information of the participants is presented under the three basics sub-topics, viz: Demographic characteristics of the respondents, hypotheses testing and summary of findings.
Demographic Characteristics of Respondents
The result of the demographic data of the respondents is presented in Table 1, using descriptive statistics of percentage.
Table 1 shows that out of the 120 respondents who participated in the study, 81 (67.5%) were male, while 39 (32.5%) were female. On the basis of age, 29 (24.3%) of the respondents were between 20-30 years, 16 (13.3%) were between 31-40 years, while 75 (62.5%) were 41 years and above. Their educational attainment shows that 8 (6.7%) of the participants were Grade II certificate holders, 15 (12.5%) possessed NCE certificate, 7 (5.8%) have ND certificate, 9 (7.5%) were HND holders, 9 (7.5%) were B.Sc holders, 13 (10.8%) have B.A. Ed., 5 (4.2%) were B.A. certificate holders, 15 (12.5%) were B.Ed. certificate holders, 12 (10.0%) have M.A. certificate, 8 (6.7%) were M.Ed. certificate holders, 9 (7.5%) were M.Sc certificate holders, 6 (6.7%) have M.A. Ed., while 2 (1.7%) were Ph.D certificate holders.
