    • 5.3    DRILLING ACCESSORIES
      1.    Goggles
      These are glass or shade worn that prevent chip from entering the eyes. They are of different sizes and shapes and must also be used when working. These goggles must not be placed on the ground of the workshop in other to avoid accidental smashing into pieces. They should be hanged some where in the workshop when not use.
      2.    Aprons
      These are special. Type of gown worn in the workshop to prevent the body and clown from been burnt by the hot clips from the steel plate. It is usually worn on the workshop overall and they can be made of different type of material such as rubber, leather and abestors etc.
      3.    Shoes
          It also worn in workshop to protect the legs from been cut by the chips in the workshop, they are of different made types as with of apron.
      5.4    PREVENTION TAKEN WHEN DRILLING
          Before starting and drilling operating some safety precaution must be taken into consideration, they are as follow:
      i.    Wear safety equipment, goggle and protective shocks
      ii.    Roll up your overall sleeves above the elbows or bottom up the cuffs
      iii.    Wear gloves when handling rough materials.
      iv.    Do not wear rings or watches when working.
      v.    Use the correct tools for the job
      vi.    Ensure you know how to stop a machine before starting it.
      vii.    Switch off the machine immediately, if anything goes wrong
      viii.    Isolate a machine before making any adjustment.
      ix.    Do not attempt to operate a machine until you know how to use it correctly.
      x.    Keep all electrical equipment dry and clean
      xi.    Do not touch moving parts.

          Due to the depreciation of the value of our naira, the cost of all the materials used is stable both at the time of construction of this project cost of materials are as follow.
