    • CHAPTER FIVE
      5.0 CONCLUSION.
In conclusion, this system was declared to aid locating children with their parent and this research shows that RFID tracking technology is a practical option for monitoring and tracking the children during their trip to and from school on school buses.
Lab and field trials confirmed that the RFID tags functions well under different conditions. The readings were consistent and resulted read ranges that were acceptable within the constraint of locating children stepped into the bus, stepped into the wrong bus, let the bus and let behind in the bus. In addition, the cost associated  with tagging of materials is relatively low. It should be noted that the work completed in this research is the first phase of this project.
Future work including RFID tracking with an information management system will result in detailed children tracking that will be capable of notifying parents via SMS when the child enters or leaves the school bus, enabling school authorities and parent to keep track of the bus online helping smooth and quick rides to different destinations.
      5.1    RECOMMENDATIONS
The student’s project leading to the award of National Diploma and Higher National Diploma has been introduce so as to be able to show the extent of student’s knowledge, especially the technological students who interpret their theoretical knowledge into practice by testing, designing, and constructing variety of structural elements, to perform their functions appropriately.
Would utmost make recommendations to make the project programmers more effective.
      1.    The Polytechnics/University should help student how to operate RFID tracking system effectively not only for the purpose to excel in the project but also to work in plant in their carrier if they eventually find themselves there.
      2.    The school authority should create a committee whereby they are meant to be a watch day in the workshop; to act as maintenance officers so as to prevent unwanted accident in the workshop.
      3.    The institution should create a forum where by award will be given to student that comes out with a very good grade in the studying of RFID tracking system has a project work. This will instigate the students to show and devote much time in the studying of steam boilers.
      4.    Student should be given project outing to source specific plant for some given period of time, and which won’t affect their other programs. So as to achieve more knowledge, and get acquainted to the way things are actually done in industrial plant.
      5.    First aid treatment should be placed in the workshop for quick attention to accident and most be placed where everyone in the workshop could easily see it.
      6.    Government should create agencies whose purpose are to go around different institution to inspect the operation, maintenance, case study of RFID, and to help in the replacement of tracking system to modern ones of required.

    • ABSRACT - [ Total Page(s): 1 ]ABSTRACTIn present time due to increase in number of kidnapping and road accident cases, parent always worry about their children. This paper proposes a SMS based solution to aid parent to track their children location in real time. The proposed system takes the advantage of the location services provided by module kit which carry by the child in their school bag. It allows parent to get their child location on a real time map by the geographical co-ordinates which send by module kit. Information ... Continue reading---

CHAPTER ONE - [ Total Page(s): 1 ]CHAPTER ONE1.1    INTRODUCTIONMillions of children need to be moved from home to school and vice versa every day. For parents, obtaining a safe transport for their children is a crucial issue. The students ride their bicycle getting to and from school safety. A research undertaken by the Scottish executive central research unit with purpose of increasing the proportional of non car travel to school reveals that travelling by bus or coach appears to be by for the safest mode. Statistics sugges ... Continue reading---

CHAPTER TWO - [ Total Page(s): 3 ]CHAPTER TWO2.1    RFID TECHNOLOGY    RFID technology relies on communication between an applied tag and reader. Two types of RFID tags are in common usage; passive tag which have no internal power supply and emit a radio frequency signal only in response to a query from a transponder, and active tags which are internally powered and which continuously emit a radio frequency signal. While passive tags are less expensive, active tags can be read from distances of several tens of meters while ... Continue reading---
