      INTRODUCTION
      Groundnut decorticator is a machine used in decorticating or shelling groundnut, shelling is the removal of kernel from pods. The spectacular increase in the use and number of hand operated decorticator throughout the northern states in Nigeria coupled with the poor quality of decorticated groundnut generally seen has made it necessary to recommend practices on the general operation and adjustment of the common hand decorticators
          So the manufacturing engineers brainstorm together to design and fabricate motorized groundnut decorticator machine and to eradicate the use of hand and manual decorticator, to reduce poor quality of  for groundnut decorticated groundnut  and to increase the productivity and demand for ground in our country s an indication that the production and processing of groundnut should be improved by modern mechanization techniques out which is decorticating or shelling operation. Shelling is carried out on farm just before the farmer takes his groundnut product to the market for sale.
      LITERATURE VIEW AND BACKGROUND OF GROUNDNUT DECORTICATOR MACHINE
      As we all know that, decorticating is what we can nut avoid in human activities most especially in commercial farm production of groundnut. Hence they need to be decorticated after harvesting the groundnut
             In view of this significance of shelling process, modern engineers have been force to derive means of mechanized decorticating of groundnut and to eradicate the use of hand to operation, manually operated machine and to replace them with motorized machine with make use of link mechanism in transferring motion from one place to another[from electric motor to the beater bare shaft of decorticator machine]. In those parts, groundnut shell is a huge time consuming and tedious energy consuming
          Many other means used to improved were not ideal in an attempt to erase completely the sweat  and difficulties encounter in manual and hand decorticator / shelling, these arise to the need to design and fabricate a device to meet the comfort of man in groundnut shelling .
          Motorized groundnut that decorticate machine is a type of decorticating machine that is used to remove kernel from husks and it’s carried out by farmers, to shell the groundnut product from the farm to the market.
      AIM’S AND OBJECTIVE OF MOTORIZED OPERATED GROUNDNUT DECORTICATOR MACHINE
        Aim’s of this project is to design and fabricate of motorized operated groundnut decorticator machine with the use of the white worth return mechanism with two likes bar. The use of hand, manual and motorized operated decorticator has been studies, to design and fabricate machine that is going to replace the old  tedious –out dated style of shelling of groundnut because it waste time and energy consuming by farmer, and poor productivity from the farm. This machine is design to eradicate to the use hand in shelling of groundnut .
      OBJECTIVES
          To do away with old primitives system of shelling groundnut
          To increase comfort in groundnut shelling
          To reduce time and energy spent in shelling groundnut
          To simplify the repair and maintenance of the decorticator machine
          To improve the productivity and profitability of groundnut sheller.
      JUSTIFICATION
      This project is design and fabricate in order to reduces the labour and energy cost in traditional method of shelling groundnut .
      To reduce the damages done to the groundnut during shelling operation using the manual method
      To reduce the time taking in traditional ways of the shelling groundnut
      To increase the productivity and demand for groundnut in our country.
