6.0 CONCLUSION
Groundnut is one of the major cash crop that is widely grown in Nigeria because of its value as foreign exchange earner and has increase continues to generate interest. Shelling of groundnut is done locally as cracking the pod by hand, using mortal and pestle which are laborious and time consuming. This reason has call for the fabrication energy cost involving in traditional ways of shelling groundnut.
The efficiency of the design fabrication groundnut shelling machine (decoration) is very well above average and the performance is very adequate too.
When serving this machine proper career should be taken, these has been highlighted in the recommendation given.
RECOMMENDATION
It is therefore, recommended that the motorized operated groundnut decorticator was design to improve the production of groundnut and the country economy at large.
I view of the technological development that is expected in this country in the nearest future, it is hope that t he design of the machine well form part of the bedrock for the production of Nigeria that will meet the international standard. It is hope that the local engineering community and invertors would appreciate the level of engineering theories knowledge expanded in producing the machine.
