ABSRACT - [ Total Page(s): 1 ]The research aims at isolating and identifying the bacteria from nairar notes. A total of forty (40) different Naira notes of all denominations (₦5, ₦10, ₦20, ₦50, ₦100, ₦200, ₦500, ₦1000), were randomly collected from artisans, sellers (vendors) and students in selected areas around Taraba State. Each currency of both paper and polymer were rinsed with sterile distilled water and part of the solution was examined under the microscope for microorganisms.
