NURSERY PROFFESION CONT’D
Where do registered nurses (RNs) work?
The obvious answer is a clinic or hospital But the reality is that RNs work in a variety of different settings.
There are eleven (11)surprising places were RNs work. RNs have a wide
array of option bother when it comes to the work environment and the
daily duties one will perform. The places where a registered nurses work
are: camp, correctional worship facilities school patient home places
ofworship airplane helicopter companies industries missionaries
clinics, court of law war zone and military base and his/her own office
so where do RNs work, the answer is everywhere (MEGAN RUESINK 2015).
Mindset for those who are interested in the field.
Registered nursing is not for the faint of heart or for those looking
to make a high salary if their mind and heart are not focused completely
on helping others. It is a field that requires a lot of commitment and
selflessness since In many cases the patient need come before the nurses
long hour, consistent multitasking and being able to give ones
undivided attention are just some of the things nurse have to master in
order to be effective in their field, but for those who can pull it off
there is a lot of internal reward and satisfaction that goes along with
saving a life and helping patient that look to the nurses to make them
better. few things feels as good as giving someone a second chances or
healing a person wound when they have been injured.
The nurses
will gain vital skills and a mentality that allow him/her everyday
experience. If you dedicated to helping others feel better then nursing
can be a great career choice for you (nursing theory 2016)
2.7 NURSING KNOWLEDGE
Nursing care is provided for people with widely diverse health and
sick care needs un multiple context worldwide. the knowledge and
competence to meet such a wide variety of care needs may be daunting for
the student starting a programme are designed to allow knowledge and
practice experience to be accumulated and assimilated by the nursing
student within the 3to4 course period (Maggie Malliik et al 2015)
Nursing Knowledge is the means by which the whole purpose of caring for
patient is achieved because it underpins what nurses actually. It is
what defines them as opposed to similar profession such as doctors or
physiotherapist, and helps to differentiate them from lay careers or
basically what classifies nurses as a profession because having a unique
body of profession in one of the things that defines a profession in
society (Angela hall, 2005). For individual nurses today there are
practical reasons for indentify nursing knowledge with increasing
accountability there is a growing exception that nurses explore their
profession’s belief, discarding those without merit and consequently
developing adsquate knowledge to care for their patient in a competent
manner. Nursing knowledge will, for example, enable them to justify
action or indeed stop unsafe or poor practices. Nursing knowledge can
literally mean the difference between life and death of some patient
(Angela 2005).
