    • 4.    EDUCATIONAL INFLUENCE 
          The importance of positive educational influences and support were found to be significant factors in both predisposing young peoples toward different career decision based on their early educational experiences, academics success and their self esteem (Leach and zepke, 2005). The teachers acknowledged the importance of providing a safe learning environment in order to support positive self-esteem.
          The media played a major role in the career choice of student in the United Kingdom, to the high academic achieving student whose main source regarding nursing appeared to be through television programmes and were reliant in the small amount of television programmes for their image of nursing and nurses (op.at,2007).
      5.    PERSONAL FACTOR
          Personal contact with the health care world or with someone in the health care world influences the decision to chose nursing career .If one experiences a loss of a loved one, this would influences one in choosing nursing as a career with the intention of helping the loved one or other or others with similar condition (Gutierrez et al., 2010). it was reported that altruism and personal interest have been identified as reasons for becoming a nurse (ogunyewo et al., 2014).
      14         2.11 THEORETICAL FRAME WORK
             Career choice can be explained using same theoretical assumptions such as king’s goal attainment theory and Holland is theory vocational personalities in war environment.
      1.     King’s goal attainment theory
      Imogene king’s theory of goal attainment (1981) was derive from her conceptual frame work. The major concepts in her theory of goal attainment are interaction, perception, communication, transaction, role stress, growth and development and time, personal space, and decision making.
      *     Interaction: is defined as a process of perception and communication between person and environment and between person to person, represented by ver4bal and non- verbal behaviors that are goal directed.
      *     Perception is defined as ‘each persons’ representation of reality. this include import and transformation of energy, and processing, strong, and exporting information’s. Perception are related to post experiences, concepts of self socio- economic group, biological inheritance, and educational background.
      *     Communication: communication is a process where by information is given from one person to another either directly or indirectly.
      *     Transaction is defined as purposeful interaction that leads to goal attainment. it includes observable behaviors of human beings interacting with their environment.
      *     Growth and development are defined as a continuous changes in the individuals at the cellular, molecular, and behavioral  levels of activities- conducive in helping individuals to move toward  maturity.
