Table 4 shows the mean ratings on the influence of teachers’ attitude towards teaching and learning of English Language in Primary School. The items 1-5 had mean ratings of 3.12, 2.99, 2.75, 3.00 and 2.60 respectively. The standard deviation of .345, .132,.452,.212 and .234 respectively. The analysis implies that the mean ratings of these items are greater than 2.50 bench mark mean which were accepted. This implicates that items on the questionnaire based on teachers’ attitude improve teaching and learning of English Language2. Does government attitude affect teaching and learning of English Language in Primary School?Table 5 shows the mean ratings on government attitude towards teaching and learning of English Language in Primary School. The items 1-5 had mean ratings of 2.99, 3.25, 2.98, 2.67 and 2.54 respectively. The standard deviation of .210, .226, .301,.213 and .119 respectively. The analysis implies that the mean ratings of these items are greater than 2.50 bench mark mean which were accepted. This implicates that items on the questionnaire based on government attitude have impact on teaching and learning of English Language.
