Aiyepeku (1987) asserted that the word perception has two meaning. In one, h stated that it is the way the world looks, sounds, feels, tastes or smells. In other words, it refers to what is immediately experienced by a person.
In his second view, he asserts that perception could be defined in terms of the processes, giving rise to immediate experience of the world. Morgan (1995) refers to perception as the way the world experiences or feels on issue i.e. how an individual sees things. He claimed that individuals perceive things differently.
Ogunleye (1984), in his own view; remarked that an individual tends to perceive situations differently because not only that man finds himself in biographically determined situation but because perception has such potential for different and perhaps equal valid versions for the same reality. He pointed out that perception depends more on behavioural determinant which he defines as being related to such influences as the needs, values, attitudes, stress, culture and expectation than stimulus factors. Also, Oladele (1998) noted that it is the way in which both the teachers and student feel, have insight into or are aware of causes of (indiscipline) situation.
