    • The main purpose of this study is to investigate the causes of the high prevalence of typhoid fever among the students of College of Health Science and Technology idah, Kogi state, the typhoid fever infection that cause intestinal perforation.

      Knowing the causes of typhoid fever prevalence it is very important to reduce the high prevalence on preventing one from having contact to this deadly disease. If the students aware of this infection, it will go alone way in reducing mortality and increase life expectancy.

      The typhoid fever has a great effect on the body such as damaging the intestine and destroying the normal condition or a body systems, the typhoid effect education and all other area of human carrier is structured in the questionnaire based on the respondents demographical data and variable on the causes of high prevalence of typhoid fever the study area were used to collect information from fifty (50) respondents simple frequency of and percentage were used to analyzed the data.

      The result from the analyses revealed that the typhoid fever has an effort on life of the students of College of Health Science and Technology idah, Kogi state, from the result obtained, it was revealed that the typhoid fever affected the student carrier by 67.6%. It is therefore recommended that the school management should intensify effort in providing a proper hygienic water and food to the students.
