-
Poor sanitation remains a significant public health concern, particularly in developing countries where inadequate waste disposal, lack of clean water, and poor hygiene practices prevail. This project explores the direct and indirect effects of poor sanitation on public health, highlighting its role in the spread of communicable diseases such as cholera, typhoid, and diarrhea. It also examines the socio-economic implications, including increased healthcare costs, reduced productivity, and lowered quality of life.
Through a combination of field surveys, case studies, and secondary data analysis, this study aims to identify the major sanitation challenges facing communities and evaluate their impact on health outcomes. The findings underscore the urgent need for improved sanitation infrastructure, public health education, and government intervention to mitigate the adverse effects and promote sustainable health and well-being for all.
