    • Abortion has become a thing of concern in the third world countries especially Nigeria. This research is based on the effect of abortion on female students in college of health science and technology Idah Kogi state. The basic objective of the study is to identify the major effect of abortion, access knowledge about complication, the major causes of abortion.

      This research is further buttressed  with various literature to enable the research ascertain findings. Among the recommendation is Although from the analysis, act of forcing sexual intercourse causes the problem of pregnancy and abortion on girl-child education but emphasis has been put that if such act will be done, it should be done at both parents will, Government should provide or make teaching sex education compulsory at all areas of study to enable every female child to know how to maintain themselves, the society should put more emphasis on issues related to problem of pregnancy and abortion on girl child education to prevent their female child from getting closer to such act and to enable them leaves a healthy life and the school administrator should make it know to every student that any misbehavior related to pregnancy and abortion on girl-child could be sent out from school to prevent problem of pregnancy and abortion on girl child education.
