    • 3.3    Source and Method of Data Collection
      The sources of relevant primary data wore the factor plant of Seven up Bottling Company substantial amounts of the data were extracted from the following sources.
      i.    Company’s account records
      ii.    The company’s production schedules
      iii.    The capacity sales force repair
      iv.    The audited account statement of the company
      v.    Conduction of market survey on raw materials used by company and finished product of tire company.
      3.3.1    Sampling Procedure
      The population fine this study includes staff in the population and quality control department not less than 5 years particularly. This population was specifically chosen to ensure that data collected were accurate relevant are dependable thereby making this study more effective and its result reliable.
      3.3.2    Scope of Data
      The raw materials that serve as input being used by the company for the manufacturing of its assorted products can be classified into core raw materials and packaging material.

      i.    Sugar
      ii.     Acciducant
      iii.     Concentrate
      iv.     Hydrated line
      B.    The packing materials is carton/crate
      The company manufactures

      3.3.3    Methods of Data Analysis
      In the analysis of data collected for this study, it enumerates the findings and analysis of data collected, the procedures    adopted by the company for the determination of optimal order size, optimal number of orders optimal time between orders and optimal number of unit per production fin.
      The material cost of raw materials using economic order quality is examined £0 model of total inventory of finished product using economic order quantity £OQ model and the cost saving effect of economic order quantity -fOQ model for the raw materials and finished product
