      1.1    BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
          To make increase  in productivity and efficiency in an organization, there is the need to develop, train and motivate  employees so as to stimulate the achievemt  of the  organization  objective. After performance, appraisal has indicated or discovered that poor performance is as a result of inadequate skills and inability on the part of the emplyees, steps have to be taken to improve   such  skills and ability through  training and in the case of the management,  it is known as development.
          For success, every organization needs to have well trained and experience workers to perform the activities. Even the experienced workers needs to learn more about the  organization, its people,  politics , cultue and procedures. If employees can meet all requirement of a job, training may  not be important  but no employees can over posses all necessary ingredients that a  job requires,. He may be exellent on  one subject or aspect, but finds some aspect of the job a little difficults. This is where trianing becomes  imparotant in  order to  increase the versatility and  adapatability  of employees.
          If jobs are simple, easy to leans  and influenced by  technological  changes, sophisication and the complex society, training is inevitatble .
          Trainning  is a process of updating old  skills and developing  new ones .
          Training is learning directly, towards the question  of a specific  knowledge and skll for the purpose of  an occupation  or task wihtin an organization.
          Attitude  must be concerned and  corrected without adequate trainning  errors, occupational accident and misunderstanding may arise.
          Trainning  of employees is a vital task for the management to ensure  increase in productivity and to stablize and maintain the on going perfomance of employees in the organization .
          Efficiency is the goal of every organization. In order to acchieve this, There must be a system of trainning employees.
      1.2    OBJECTIVE OR SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
          The objectives and sisgnificance of this write up is as follows.
         i.  To examine how trainning  affects the efficiency        of an organization  and to see the need of trainning the emplyees.
      ii.     To find out conclusion on how to achieve efficiency in the organization  or local government.
      iii.    To identify  appropriate service and development  activities  responsive  to  employees wishes and initiatives by devolving them to local  representative bodies.
      iv.    To examine the mobilization of human and material resources through  the involvement of memebers  of lcoal government  in their  local development.
      v.    To recommend the importance of trainning to the employees of lcoal government  and Moro local government itself so as to achieve stated goals and objectives.
      1.3    SCOPE AND LIMITATIION  OF THE STUDY.
          The scope and limitation of the project in Moro local governemnt , Bode-Saadu and the areas which it  tends to cover are: Training prospecive, efficiency, the highly trained group around  an organization  is built  on  staff being trainded and what form of training. eg. On the job training and off job training.
      1.4    PLAN OF THE STUDY
          This  paper is being organized in such a way that chapter one deals with the introduction ,objecives  or significance of the study, scope and limitation  of the study and   definition of  some  terms used.
      Chapter  two is  literuate review of study while chapter three  examine the sample and population  of the study, the sources  of data collection  data collection, instrument method of  data  analysis and research  problem. Then chapter four is the interpretation  of data being used in  in the purpose of study, while chapter five continuous  with the  recommendations being  made summary and conclusion  and list of associated wrtting  and references  at the end of the chapter.
