      METHODOLOGY
      3.1    INTRODUCTION
      This is the systematic approach employed by the researcher in the process of collecting, analyzing, presenting and interpreting data. This chapter will gives an emphasis on the research method used, sources of data, data collection tools, research population and sample size, sampling procedure employed and statistical techniques used in data analysis.
      3.2    RESEARCH METHOD USED
          The method adopted in the course of this study is description research, the method involves the process whereby the gathered data are analyzed, summarized, and interpreted along certain liens for the pursuit of specific objectives.
      3.3    SOURCE OF DATA
          In the course of the study both primary and secondary sources of data were employed for the collection of the required data.
      3.4    DATA COLLECTION TOOLS
          A combination of data collation has been employed in the research in order to have an edifice knowledge bult personal interview, observation and questionnaire have been used to conduct the research work.
      (i)    personal Interview: the rationale for this method of data collection by the researcher is to afford the researcher the opportunity of relevant information from the employees of Doyin Investment structural and unstructured interview method are equally used under this personal interview approach. The structural interview are systematically arranged and planned questions which are in sequential asked by the interview researcher.
          Unstructural interview as implies means other question that come in process of the interview and it is less detailed and less planned.
      (ii)    Questionnaire: This is a form of correspondent developed in order to obtain authoritative information from a fairly large number of people through the avenue of a well conducted question.
      (iii)    Observation: Observation has to do with watching the operation in particular areas as they are being carried out in respect of the subject matter under study.
          The researcher patiently watched the procedural techniques of the company including their human relation system.
      The application of this data collection tools has made it possible for researcher to obtain the useful and valuable information required.
      3.5    RESEARCH POPULATION AND SAMPLE SIZE
          A researcher population encompasses every individual entity affected by the researcher as a result of sharing one common attribute of the other whereas present the population where in the research was finally conducted.
          In this particular research the researcher population is the procurement internationally in the Doyin investment limited Ilorin with the particular focus on the purchasing department.
          The sample is the Doyin investment Ilorin since the sample size is representative of Doyin investment all the findings and recommendation contained in this research apply to all the companies or branches in Nigeria.
      3.6    SAMPLING PROCEDURE EMPLOYED
          In the course of this research work research employed random probability sampling techniques or procedure which requires that the research population should be divided into different parts there after making random but independent selection different parts there after making random but independent selection of sample from the population.
      3.7    STATISTICAL THECHNIQUES USED IN DATDA ANALYSIS
          Analysis and interpretation of data have to do with the verbal numerical and graphical presentation of the result found in the project.
          In this research work, the researcher has used tables in the analysis and presentation of data.
      Tables Tabulation is a data interpretation procedure designed to reduce the bulk international by presenting it simpler and more explicitly.
