This project work is titled “the impact of information and communication technology (ICT) on the teaching and learning of statistics in tertiary institutions, a case study of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokojaâ€. The source of data collection is primary. From the analysis carried out, we discovered that ICT improve the quality of the teaching and learning of statistics in our tertiary institutions. Also, we found out that poor students background in ICT does affects students research work in tertiary institutions. Appropriate recommendations were given.
